Because medical tourism is new to many people there is apprehension from patients that have never visited India and have stereotypical impressions of what they might find. In actuality, India is at the forefront of medical technology with many hospital facilities and standards far ahead of what might be found in the U.S. and Canada. A similar technological advancement happened within India's computer industry.
Overseas Medical Facilitators takes the worry out of dealing with the vagaries of sourcing a hospital, transferring medical records, arranging travel, getting cost estimates and all the problems of dealing with a foreign country. We even arrange for you to be picked up at the airport by ambulance or car and transported directly to your private room at the hospital. We will also arrange for recuperating time at one of the many first rate resorts if you want to combine your medical procedure with a vacation.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
You provide us the medical records and/or x-rays of your particular condition or problem and we forward those directly to Wockhardt Hospital for analysis and recommendation.
Within 3-4 days we will provide you with their recommendation, including length of hospital stay required and complete costs for the operation or procedure.
If you want your doctor to talk to your assigned doctor at the hospital that can be arranged.
Upon your approval of the hospital costs we will require the payment of $500 facilitator fee* paid directly to Overseas Medical Facilitators. (* plus any out-of pocket expenses for mailing or x-ray transfer).
We will then arrange a booking to coincide with your availability to travel and the admittance date available at the hospital. This will include a private deluxe room with satellite t.v., internet access and private telephone as well as a companion or spousal bed in the same room for the duration of your hospital stay. If you wish to combine your stay with an extended vacation at one of the nearby resorts, this will also be arranged.
All travel costs will be paid to Overseas Medical Facilitators in advance of departure. Our travel affiliate is an experienced international agency with offices around the world including India. They have handled many medical tourism clients at very competitive rates.
Upon arrival you will be escorted to the hospital. All hospital expenses will be paid directly to Wockhardt Hospital upon admission or before departure.
